SMU Rolls Over Houston Christian in a 59-7 Victory

SMU's Mustangs asserted their dominance against Houston Christian University (HCU) with a commanding 59-7 win in Dallas. Brashard Smith led the offensive charge with 108 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while the Mustangs’ defense delivered a strong performance, highlighted by a 16-yard fumble return touchdown from 348-pound nose tackle Anthony Booker Jr.

The Mustangs, who have now won their ninth consecutive home game, showed explosive offensive power, scoring touchdowns on four consecutive possessions. The defense added to the momentum early in the first quarter when Jahfari Harvey’s hit forced a fumble that Booker returned for a score, giving SMU a 28-0 lead.
