Wilson's dominance was evident from the start, as she scored 12 of the Aces' first 20 points. Tiffany Hayes, making her debut for Las Vegas, contributed by making her first basket, helping to establish an early 22-6 lead. The Aces' hot shooting continued, finishing the first quarter with a 63% field goal percentage and a 29-16 lead.
Although Las Vegas extended their lead to as many as 20 points in the first half, the Wings mounted a comeback, closing the gap to 47-42 by halftime. Wilson remained a key figure, amassing 20 points and contributing significantly to the Aces' 18 field goals in the first half.
The second half saw Jackie Young stepping up with consecutive 3-pointers, pushing the Aces' lead to 63-52. Alysha Clark further extended the lead with a 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter, giving Las Vegas a 78-61 advantage.
Kelsey Plum added 20 points, and Young, despite battling illness, scored 19. Hayes, who joined the Aces from the Connecticut Sun, contributed 11 points. The Aces improved their season record to 5-2 with this win.
For Dallas, Arike Ogunbowale continued her scoring streak, leading the team with 31 points. Teaira McCowan had a notable game with 14 points and 15 rebounds, including her first career 3-pointer. Maddy Siegrist and Monique Billings also added 14 and 12 points, respectively. The Wings' record fell to 3-5 after this loss.
